It has been confirmed that fan-favorite stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Production is currently underway.
A Significant Reunion for Fans
Lawrence and Hutcherson are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Speculation suggests their cameos will probably be featured in a future-set scene, given that the main film series concluded with their characters married and with children.

Sunrise on the Reaping is adapted from a newly published work by series creator Suzanne Collins.
