The rising star maintains considerable online presence
The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
The former president, someone who loves golf, owns multiple international courses and frequently competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"He basically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments recently and has the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
However she can get advice from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."
She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Officials stated that her participation helps introduce the sport to different demographics, specifically among youth audiences.
Kai maintains millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
